In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to build your very own stool from scratch using bamboo, along with simple rattan weaving techniques. There are a number of high-quality bamboo species in Malaysia such as Betong, Beting, Semantan, Akar, Aur and more. A great alternative to hardwood, bamboo is recognized as a more sustainable renewable resource in comparison to hard wood, as it grows much faster, regenerates quickly, and doesn’t need as much nutrients, amongst other things.
