The property has a productive home garden, small animal systems, orchard, food forest as well as restoration of riparian zones. Permaculture courses have been run from the farm in Eumundi for the past ten years.
Janet has been a director of both the Permaculture Institute and Permaculture International and a committee member of Permaculture Noosa. She co-founded the Sunshine Coast Energy Action Centre with Sonya Wallace and is very active in the Transition Towns Movement.
