“When we set up the garden, we wanted to do something to beautify the place, and also to give the students an out-of-classroom education.” – Teacher Ben The D

"When we set up the garden, we wanted to do something to beautify the place, and also to give the students an out-of-classroom education." – Teacher Ben The Dignity Kitchen Garden under the Dignity For Children Foundation in Sentul was established in July 2015, just opposite Project B cafe. Under the care of Teacher Ben and his gardening club, the kitchen garden is a lush blooming space with local edibles, many of which are used in the Project B kitchen (fresh Vietnamese Mint in their laksas!). It is a great example of a successful community edible garden in the city: filled with daily love and care, always making space for plants to grow and flourish. The garden is open to the public, so pop by if you’re ever in the area! @projectbkl cafe is open every day from 11am-10pm.
